Laura Davidson Returns from Rwanda after a legislative Consultancy with the Ministry of Health

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

Laura Davidson has recently returned from working in Rwanda as a Consultant for the Ministry of Health.  She undertook a situational analysis of the country's mental health system, thereafter carrying out a consultation with key stakeholders.  We are pleased to announce that Laura then drafted the country's first Mental Health Law and advised the government on its mental health policy.

An article about Laura's time in Rwanda will appear in Counsel magazine in the near future, and will provide those interested with more detail.  We will publish it on our website in due course.

Laura is once again available to receive instructions in healthcare cases, and particularly those involving mental health and mental capacity issues.  She looks forward to hearing from the  solicitors who regularly worked with her prior to her sabbatical, and of course she would also be delighted to receive instructions from any new solicitors who require her expertise.
