John Butterfield prosecutes armed robbery for Complex Casework Unit

Masked gang raided Nechells cash and carry, court is told
 
A GANG of masked and armed robbers who burst into a Birmingham cash and carry, smashed display cabinets and stole £20,000 of jewellery.
 
Police later recovered a loaded shotgun used in the raid on Costco in Watson Road Nechells on March 27, 2009, in a car with two of the alleged robbers.
 
Damion Brade, 29, of Tedbury Crescent, Erdington; Horace Ferguson, 26, of Wretham Road, Hockley; Joshua Parchment, 25, of Aldershaw Road, Yardley; and Pedro Taylor-Powell, 26, of Arches Close, New Oscott have all denied conspiracy to rob and possessing a prohibited firearm.
