Emma Edhem elected to the Court of Common Council in the Ward of Castle Baynard in the City of London

We are delighted to inform you that Emma Edhem, barrister at No5 Chambers and Chairman of the Turkish British Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has been elected to the Court of Common Council in the Ward of Castle Baynard in the City of London after a contested bye-election.

Emma Edhem won 80% of the votes and will be one of a team of eight Common Councilmen and one Alderman to serve the ward and the City of London Corporation, which continues to be the world’s oldest continuously elected local government body.
