Emma Edhem, CC attended the State Banquet, at the Guildhall, for the President of Colombia

Emma Edhem, CC, Barrister and Deputy Head of International Law at No5 Chambers attended the State Banquet for the President of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos and his First Lady, Maria Clemencia Rodriguez De Santos, at the Guildhall on Wednesday evening. She was part of both the Grand and Sub Committee, and part of the Deputation leading the President and Lord Mayor's Procession into the Hall. Emma said, "I feel particularly privileged to have been selected to stand on the Committees and to have been in the procession leading the President and Lord Mayor". The visit follows the President's award of the Nobel Peace Prize and a peace deal that his government forged with the Marxist Guerrilla movement, the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Farc).
