No5 Barristers’ Chambers are delighted to announce that Dr Pinky Anand, Senior Advocate at the Indian Bar has joined as a door tenant. Dr Anand was called to the Indian Bar in 1980 and has MA from Harvard. She is an expert in constitutional, commercial, private international law and arbitration, having appeared in some of the landmark cases before the High Courts and the Supreme Court of India, such as Hindustan Construction Company v. Union of India, Christian Medical College Vellore and Ors. v Union of India and Ors. Landmark NEET case (Medical admissions) and Republic of India v. Agusta Westland. She has a distinguished career, been the recipient of several national and international awards and has authored several books. She is the second woman in India to have been appointed to the office of the Additional Solicitor General.
