David Howker QC defends in Busy Block Gang Murder trial

Andrew Jaipaul, 21, a painter and decorator from London, died after being stabbed 25 times whilst walking home through the Andover Estate in Holloway in June 2011.
 
Witnesses saw the attackers, who are from the Busy Block gang, chase Mr Jaipaul and kill him.
 
The defendants are Tommy McInerny, 20, of Islington, north London; Jojo Mafwa, 19, of Tottenham, north London; Alan Kalema, 19, from Wychdell, Stevenage, Hertfordshire; Tirrell Ball-Thomas, 18, of Finsbury Park, north London; Warren Brooks, 23, of Islington; Orville Sterling, 18 of Enfield, north London; and a 15year old and a 17 year old who cannot be named for legal reasons. All deny murder, conspiracy and violent disorder.
 
The trial continues.
