The PEBA National Conference 2014 will be taking place at Hogan Lovells LLP, London on Friday 16th May 2014.

PEBA’s seventh national conference, ‘The Planning System - Too Many Snakes And Too Few Ladders?’ will be valuable to not only planning and environmental lawyers but to all those actively engaged in the development process, whether as promoter, regulator, or opponent of projects.

The conference will be looking at the National Planning Practice Guidance and examining the central role of policy and its proper interpretation. It will be asking whether the SEA regime is workable. The afternoon debate will look at whether the plan-led system can be made to deliver, popular case law update will address the key legal decisions of the last 12 months.

Chris Young will be on a panel of speakers for the debate "Can the plan-led system deliver?”.
