Paul Bayliss, 56, has been jailed for 14 years after being found guilty of five assaults on a minor and four rapes at Warwick Crown Court.

Bayliss originally stood trial at Stafford Crown Court in March, but the jury failed to reach a decision. He was then retried at the Warwickshire Justice Centre.

Along with the jail sentence, he has been placed on the sex offenders’ register for life.

His victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has now spoken out about the torment he endured.
