Gynaecology and Obstetrics

Members of the group practice in the full gamut of obstetric and gynaecological cases including but not limited to:

  • Obstetric cases which include birth injuries such as cerebral palsy and Erb's palsy, stillbirths as well as wrongful birth claims. Failures during labour including with operative delivery and episiotomy and in respect of caesarean sections. Perinatal failures including failure to treat neonates/mother appropriately post birth.
  • Gynaecological cases which include failures to treat endometriosis, failures to identify bowel/bladder perforations during gynaecological surgery and claims following vaginal mesh/TVT/TOT insertion cases. Also failures in relation to sterilisations and terminations and to identify/treat perineal tears. Dilation and curettage claims.
