Brain Injury and Cerebral Palsy

The Brain Injury and Cerebral Palsy team are routinely instructed in:

  • Adult brain injury which includes management of meningitis (including TB) and encephalitis, management of brain haemorrhage (subarachnoid, extradural, subdural, intracerebral), management of stroke, sepsis, neurosurgical care and delays in diagnosis of cerebral tumours
  • Child brain injury which includes birth trauma resulting in cerebral palsy, kernicterus, neonatal infection, meningitis and encephalitis, management of hydrocephalus, sepsis and delays in diagnosis of childhood brain tumours
