He qualified as a member of the Institute of Barristers clerks in 1988 and sits on the IBC Executive Committee and its Management Committee.
He is Chair of the Birmingham Law Society International Committee and sits on the Bar Council Ethics Committee.
He is a founder member and treasurer of the West Midlands Irish Business Group.
