Tim Jones has retired as a barrister, after a career which included appearances before the House of Lords and the European Court of Human Rights. He now sits as an arbitrator and mediator.
He has written and taught arbitration (both UK and international). He has particular knowledge of arbitration in sale of goods law (both UK and international).
He writes reports for public bodies.
He has particular expertise in neighbourhood planning examinations (both neighbourhood plan and neighbourhood development orders), being qualified under the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors’ Neighbourhood Planning Independent Examiner Referral Service (NPIERS) and conducting training in neighbourhood planning for NPIERS and the RTPI. He has completed 32 neighbourhood planning examinations.
He has passed the Mynediad and Sylfaen exams in Welsh.
