Sam Leach joined Chambers in October 2023 and is currently undertaking a specialist Crime Pupillage, under the supervision of Tom Schofield.
Before starting pupillage, Sam lived in Accra as a rugby league coach where he worked to set up the sport in Ghana. He subsequently was employed as a Clerk & Researcher at a barristers’ chambers in London helping members with case preparation in criminal and public law matters.
Whilst at university, Sam was a member of the City Community Legal Advice Centre where he provided pro bono advice to individuals who failed to qualify for legal aid.
In his spare time, Sam enjoys watching sport and is learning to play the bass guitar.
