
Reiss specialises in personal injury and clinical negligence, representing both Claimants and Defendants in matters ranging from small claims to multi-track trials. His practice covers credit hire litigation, occupiers’ liability, employers’ liability, and Highways Act claims, with a recent success in having claim dismissed with a finding of fundamental dishonesty.
He regularly handles all aspects of credit hire disputes, including need, enforceability, impecuniosity, period, rate, as well as less common areas such as intervention, agency, and loss of profit claims. Clients note his professionalism, insight, and calm approach.
Before joining No5, Reiss completed a civil pupillage in London, gaining experience in high-value multitrack personal injury and clinical negligence trials, hearings, and drafting. He also worked as a County Court advocate and paralegal, managing a broad range of civil claims, including small claims, credit hire, road traffic accidents, contractual disputes, and employment group litigation.
Reiss is committed to access to justice and volunteers for Advocate, having completed the 25 for 25 challenge by providing over 25 hours of pro bono work. He has also supported the Free Representation Unit, assisting clients with appeals against benefit decisions.
In his spare time, Reiss plays socially lacrosse for a mixed London team.
