Matthew Wyatt accepted tenancy in October 2024, having completed a specialist Criminal Pupillage, under the supervision of Matthew Brook KC. Since that time, Matthew has gained wide ranging experience in Crown Courts across the Midlands Circuit. He has been instructed to undertake trials both alone and as a led junior.
Matthew has strong links to the Midlands, having grown up in Warwick and undertaken his legal studies in Birmingham. Prior to joining No5, Matthew worked for Warwickshire County Council as a Legal Assistant in their Litigation Team. He also worked as a freelance County Court Advocate, establishing a good grounding in case preparation and oral advocacy.
