Kristina Brown is a highly regarded children law practitioner specialising in the most serious and complex of Children Act cases, including in the High Court and the Court of Appeal. She is led frequently and also leads juniors, including in the High Court.
She has an established reputation for tactical preparation, forensic analysis of complex and voluminous medical evidence and excellent client care. She has significant experience in care cases including baby death, non-accidental injuries, sexual abuse, surrogacy, child trafficking, parental alienation, terrorism, chronic neglect and in representing parents and children with serious psychological difficulties, including self harming, and in acting for parents with compromised functioning, including requirement for the Official Solicitor.
Kristina’s experience also covers the full range of Private Law applications, with particular interest in intractable disputes, involving Rule 16.4 Guardians. She deals with complex child arrangements applications involving serious domestic abuse, complicated psychological evidence and relocation of children.
