Greg Leckey

Greg is a member of the Business & Property group at No5 Chambers.

He has been described as “excellent” and “brilliant” by instructing solicitors and lay clients, and has been praised for his quality of advocacy, attention to detail, ability to understand complex issues quickly and for the thoroughness of advice that he offers clients.

Greg regularly takes instructions for small claim and fast track trials, as well as interlocutory applications, CCMCs, possession hearings and winding up & bankruptcy petitions. He also has experience in successfully conducting multi-track trials over several days, and frequently appears in the High Court.

He has experience in conducting appeals within the County Court, both as an advocate at appeal hearings and in drafting the necessary written submissions prior to appeal.

Greg also has a busy paper practice, regularly drafting proceedings and producing written advice for professional and lay clients. He has drafted proceedings in a wide variety of matters, ranging from small claim disputes to multi-track proceedings in the High Court. Greg has also advised on multi-million pound disputes and has a busy mediation practice.

Prior to joining No5, Greg worked for the Office of the Public Guardian, where he assessed applications for Lasting Powers of Attorney.
