Grace was called to the Bar in 2016 after achieving a First Class English degree from the University of Cambridge and an ‘Outstanding’ award in her BPTC.

Grace accepts instructions in all aspects of financial remedy proceedings from the FDA stage through to final hearing. She is also experienced at representing clients in applications pursuant to TOLATA 1996. Grace has acted in cases involving a number of issues including: family businesses; inherited assets; intervenors; complex health issues.
Grace has a wide range of experience acting for parents and children in Private Law proceedings. Grace has a special interest in cases where all contact has broken down between a parent and a child and she is regularly instructed in cases involving allegations of parental alienation, including those where expert instruction is required. Grace also accepts instructions in cases involving alternative family structures, including fertility law, and welcomes instructions in this area.
Grace has successfully challenged the recommendations contained within a Section 7 report on behalf of her clients on numerous occasions. She regularly acts in fact-finding hearings involving serious allegations, including coercive and controlling behaviour, physical abuse, sexual abuse, financial abuse and disguised non-compliance.
Grace enjoys the multi-disciplinary approach of public law work and she has a busy practice, regularly accepting instructions in matters featuring a number of complex issues.
Grace is very experienced at representing clients with additional needs and working with an Advocate to ensure clients can fully and fairly participate in the litigation process. She also frequently acts for local authorities and she is well thought of for her thorough and organised approach. Grace accepts instructions in adoption proceedings where complexities have arisen in relation to a prospective adoptive placement.
Grace has recently been instructed on cases involving issues including: allegations of non-accidental injuries to a child; allegations of inter-sibling sexual abuse; cases involving deprivation of liberty safeguards in respect of a young person; FII; immigration issues including assessments of carers residing outside of the UK.

Grace represented the father in protracted private law proceedings over a two year period. At the start of proceedings, the father was having no contact with his child. The matter proceeded to a 2 day fact-finding before a Circuit Judge where the Judge observed that the matter was a particularly unusual and difficult case. Grace was successful in securing complex findings against the mother regarding the reasons for the breakdown of contact. Following a psychological assessment, Grace secured a shared care order for the father.
Grace represented the father at a multi-day hybrid fact-finding which included cross-allegations of sexual abuse of the parties’ child, parental alienation and exposure to an intrusive and inappropriate sexual examination. The hearing required the cross-examination of a paediatrician.
Grace successfully secured an order for sale of the family home in TOLATA proceedings.
Grace acted for the wife at an FDR involving multiple properties and family businesses subject to an expert report.
