Eoin began pupillage in October 2024 under the supervision of Sharon Bahia. He is undertaking a specialist criminal law pupillage and will be accepting instructions in all areas of criminal law as of 7th April 2025. Prior to commencing pupillage, Eoin gained experience working with pro bono organisations such as the Freedom Law Clinic and Employment Tribunal Project during his legal studies. He also worked in several research assistant roles during his Master’s degree, researching areas such as the targeting of healthcare personnel and infrastructure during armed conflict, the impact of Section 1 of the Terrorism Act 2000 on the legislative landscape, and preliminary objections raised at the International Court of Justice. Throughout his studies Eoin received several awards and scholarships, including winning the Camm Cup moot competition, reaching the semi-finals of the Helga Pederson Moot, and winning the Gordon Woodman Memorial Prize for finishing top of his class. He completed his Master’s and Bar Course with the aid of several scholarships. In his spare time Eoin enjoys photography and playing Gaelic football, having coached his university team for a number of years. |
