We are delighted to announce that during last night’s Birmingham Law Society’s Presidents Dinner, current President Matt O’Brien honoured Tony McDaid with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
This award is a wonderful acknowledgement of Tony’s outstanding contribution to the legal profession, his promotion and dedication within the Birmingham legal community and the support, mentorship and inspiration he has provided to barristers, solicitors and clerks throughout his career.
Achievements like this are not simply about the years spent in a profession but are testament to the lasting impact and legacy Tony has built along the way.
The evening itself was fabulous and Matt delivered an impassioned speech detailing Tony’s career and achievements. Tony himself took to the stage to accept the award with his usual humility, grace and humour and was met with a standing ovation and much applause!
Congratulations to Tony on this thoroughly well deserved achievement. All of us at No5 are incredibly proud and delighted with this fitting recognition of an exceptional career.
