Yesterday was the first day of a 10-day s.78 inquiry concerning an 800 dwelling and 80 bed care home scheme along with other facilities in Shropshire. This is one of the first major housing schemes being considered under the new NPPF 2026 with key issues including Green Belt, sustainability, landscape and conflict with local plan policies.
