Delighted to share that David Mitchell has secured a significant win before the DIFC Courts, appearing before H.E. Justice Sir Jeremy Cooke in a long-running contentious probate and estate administration dispute concerning an estate in Dubai.

Acting for the Respondent on the return date of an ex parte injunction, David successfully argued that the injunction should never have been granted. The result: the injunction — and the joinder of the applicant party — was set aside, with costs awarded in his client’s favour.

David is registered to conduct proceedings before the DIFC Courts, and this result reflects the growing strength of No5’s Business & Property Groups presence in this jurisdiction.

Thanks to Raza Mithani of Conselis Law for the instruction.
