We are delighted to announce that Peter Goatley KC has been appointed Vice Chair of the Planning and Environment Bar Association (PEBA), serving alongside Chair Melissa Murphy KC.
Peter is Joint Head of Chambers at No5 and former Joint Head of our Planning and Environment Group. Called to the Bar in 1992 and appointed Silk in 2020, he is recognised as one of the country’s leading planning practitioners, appearing regularly at public inquiries and in the High Court across England and Wales.
No5 is proud to be strongly represented on the PEBA committee, with both Thea Osmund-Smith and Leanne Buckley-Thomson also serving as members.
When asked about his appointment, Peter said: “I am delighted and honoured to be elected Vice Chair of PEBA. I look forward to working with Melissa Murphy KC and the committee in helping to advance the important work of our specialist bar association”
