A great day for a Dragonboat race🚣🌞
On Saturday 27th June, the No5 Barristers’ team took to the water for the Birmingham Hospice Dragon Boat Race, raising money for an amazing cause.
We’re incredibly proud of the team’s fantastic effort, paddling their way to an impressive 4th place overall just 5 hundredths of a second off a trophy! 🏆
To make the day even more memorable, we embraced Birmingham’s legendary rock heritage by dressing up as Black Sabbath, paying tribute to the one and only Ozzy Osbourne! (honoured most directly by Head of Chambers Michelle Heeley KC – as pictured below) 🤘🦇
Thanks to everyone’s generosity and support, we’ve raised an incredible £1,272 for Birmingham Hospice. Every pound raised will help make a real difference to patients and their families.
