April Lamai has been selected to attend the United Nations Women UK delegation for the 70th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70). This years theme is ensuring and strengthening access to justice for all women and girls.
The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is one of the principal global bodies within the United Nations dedicated to promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls worldwide. Each year, representatives from governments, organisations, and civil society from across the globe gather to discuss policies, share solutions, and advance international commitments aimed at improving the lives and opportunities of women.
Being selected as part of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70) UK delegation is both an honour and a significant opportunity. It provides a platform to engage in important conversations around leadership, equality, and the challenges and opportunities facing women today.
