Sharon Bahia and Ashanti-Jade Walton successfully prosecuted Deshaun White and Shaun Andrews for offences of Attempted Murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life against 3 teenage girls who were shot at with a shotgun whilst attending a 19th Birthday party at Jacks Barr in Wolverhampton in October 2024.
The motive remained unknown as the girls did not know either of the Defendants. However, within 30 seconds of stepping outside of Jack’s Bar to get some air, the three were targeted in a planned and targeted drive-by shooting. One of the girls had 80 pellets in her body; the fact that they survived was nothing short of a miracle. The Defendant left the area, disposing of their clothes and phones within the coming days. CCTV and ANPR evidence identified the car, leading to their eventual apprehension.
The Defendants maintained that another male called ‘Big A’ was the shooter and whilst present in the car as driver and rear seat passenger, they were not part of the joint enterprise.
