Afiya Amesu of our Employment Group successfully defended a claim for Unfair Dismissal, Disability Discrimination and Age Discrimination for University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

On conclusion of a 5 day listing, counsel was able to argue that the discrimination claims were out of time and successfully managed to get the Unfair Dismissal claim dismissed by the tribunal.
