Afiya Amesu of our Employment Group here at No5 Barristers’ Chambers hosted the Empowered to Lead Conference 2025 at Manchester Central, with EY, the North West Business Leadership Team and Holland & Barrett as key sponsors. The conference brought together over 600 Black women and allies for a day of empowerment, inspiration and connection. Afiya works alongside her mother, Sharon Amesu, as part of their social enterprise work through She Leads For Legacy.
