In wardship proceedings before Mr Justice McKendrick, Rebekah acted for a 17 year old who was found to have suffered chronic neglect. He had been removed from main stream schooling 8 years before proceedings were commenced.
At 17 the High Court continued to keep him as a ward andย continue wardship proceedings to prevent further harm. It was noted in the judgement that Rebekah, ZEโs counsel:
‘was correct to reference ZEโs protected characteristics and the Lammy Review in her submissions. ZE knows nothing or little of this world.’
