No5 Barristers’ Chambers is pleased to announce the continued development of its Regulatory team via the most recent release of the List of Specialist Regulatory Advocates. This covers Counsel who undertake regulatory prosecutions in fields that include Health and Safety (HSE), Natural Resource Wales (NRW), The Environment Agency (EA), The Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR).
Longstanding members of the Panel’s A list, Adam Farrer and Tim Pole, have been joined by Tony Watkin, Christopher Hopkins and Philip Vollans on the top tier of the list, allowing them the opportunity to be instructed in the most serious of regulatory breaches.
Francesca Perera joins them on Panel on the C list.
Director of Clerking for Regulatory, Christopher Norman, said “Chambers has a long history of both prosecuting and defending in specialist areas of Regulatory law throughout the UK for national regulators, local authorities and a wide range of private, corporate and insurance backed clients through a number of specialist Solicitors firms we work closely with.
Those listed on the panel represent many years’ worth of experience in this area and continue to reflect the strength we have in the field, which is not limited to those on the panel. It is an area Chambers has always focused on from both sides of potential prosecutions; to both see them through to completion and also to provide advice and training from the very earliest stages to avoid breaches and subsequent prosecution to begin with.”
