No5’s Heather Popley has been nominated for the prestigious Barrister of the Year award at the 2025 Leicestershire Law Society Awards, recognising her outstanding contributions to the legal profession and her unwavering commitment to justice and advocacy.
The Leicestershire Law Society Awards, now a landmark event in the Midlands’ legal calendar, honour the best and brightest across the profession. Winners will be announced at the annual awards dinner, which will take place on 16th May 2025 at the Athena in Leicester.
Heather has extensive experience in both private law children and public law cases. Her cases often involve complex issues, including “parental alienation” and intractable contact disputes; fact findings, such as those involving allegations of domestic violence, physical and sexual abuse; removal out of the jurisdiction, and internal and international relocation.
