In this troubling case Rebekah Wilson (https://www.no5.com/barrister/rebekah-wilson/ London Family Group ) appeared for the Father of 4 siblings aged 13,11,9 and 7 of Syrian heritage who were returned to Austria pursuant to the Courts Inherent Jurisdiction. The family had fled to Austria from war torn Syria some years before but they had struggle to settle. The Children’s father who had brought them to the UK by ‘dinghy’ opposed their return. They were returned to Austria to be placed in State Care- Crisis Centres against their expressed wishes and feelings with no plan to see their dad, who they had all expressed a desire to wanting to live with: life refugee children…..
