No5 is delighted to announce that Ramby De Mello and Susana Ferrín Pérez have been shortlisted for the Advocate Bar Pro Bono Awards. Ramby has been nominated for the ‘John Collins Pro Bono Excellence Award’ and Susana for ‘Young Pro Bono Barrister of the Year’.

The awards recognise individuals and chambers that have exceeded expectations when undertaking pro bono work to support access to justice. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024.

The Head of No5’s Immigration Group, Danny Bazini, said, “Susana is a well-deserved nominee as a rising star in the Immigration and Human Rights Bar and is a major asset to No5.

Ramby is an exceptional practitioner who continues to break new ground. He has a long, committed legacy to pro bono work.

I wish them both the best of luck in being selected to receive the award in both of these categories.”

In addition to having two shortlisted for Awards, No5 is pleased to see the Director of Clerking (London), Geoffrey Carr, return to the judging panel.
