No5 Barristers’ Chambers is proud to announce that Public Law, Immigration & Education barrister Miran Uddin has been appointed to the role of District Judge by the King on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon

Miran’s appointment as a full-time District Judge was made official on 27th October, the former Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midlands Circuit, based at Leicester County Court, with effect from 20 November 2023

Miran said ““I am delighted to be appointed as a District Judge. I look forward to the challenge with enthusiasm and anticipation.  No 5 Chambers is a fantastic place to work at; I will miss all of my colleagues and in particular the collegiate working atmosphere which Chambers fosters.”
