No5 Barristers’ Chambers is delighted to welcome Robert Levy KC to the Business and Property Group.

Robert specialises in commercial and chancery matters, ranging from complex international litigation (often involving conflicts of laws and claims in numerous jurisdictions), to more general commercial disputes such as those arising from commercial contracts, joint ventures, shareholder disputes (with a speciality in squeeze-outs) and Insolvency.

A good deal of his work relates to directors’ duties, and he is an acknowledged expert on the law of the British Virgin Islands concerning the duties of a company director. For the last two decades the overwhelming majority of his practice has concerned high value, complex, commercial litigation in the courts of the Caribbean and appeals therefrom.

Mohammed Zaman KC, Head of the Business and Property Group, said: “We are pleased that Robert Levy KC, a highly experienced silk with a well-deserved reputation in onshore and offshore litigation has joined No5 Chambers. He adds to our reputation and standing in the field of commercial dispute resolution nationally and internationally.”

Robert commented “I am excited to be joining such a commercially minded, highly regarded set of chambers, whose members are known for their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence, and look forward to a long and happy career, continuing to serve my clients.”
