Michael Duck QC recently (July 2020) presented a webinar to DPPs, senior prosecutors and investigating officers from a number of Eastern Caribbean nations. The webinar was the result of an invitation from Sirah Abraham (Criminal Justice Advisor to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean). Michael focused on the presentation of evidence and electronic evidence in the prosecution of serious crime. There were approximately 50 attendees which is reflection of the growing importance of such evidence in the successful prosecution of serious crime within the Caribbean and worldwide.
Michael has appeared for defendants in the Cayman Islands on a number of occasions and is currently involved in advising upon an appeal in that jurisdiction.
