Two counsel from No5 Barristers’ Chambers have been shortlisted in the Barrister of the Year category for the Modern Law Awards 2020.
Phillip Rule and Nabila Mallick have both been shortlisted in the category which recognises “a barrister who has made a major contribution in their area of law and/or to the success of their Chambers in the last year”.
The judges seek “evidence of a profession-leading achievement in the law, innovative client service or Chambers business performance”.
The winner will be announced at the Modern Law Awards dinner which will be held on February 6 in Manchester.
Philip Rule is head of the Public Law group and a member of the Crime, Inquests Public Inquiries and Coronial Law, International Human Rights, Planning and Environment, Prison and Police Law, and Regulatory groups at No5 Barristers’ Chambers.
