On Saturday, 19 October 2019, the Human Rights Lawyers Association will be holding their annual careers day. Organised by its Young Lawyers Committee, the event aims to provide an insight into building a career with a particular focus on human rights principles from those engaged in the field – solicitors, barristers, academics, campaigners and others.
As part of a varied programme of events, No5 Barristers’ Chambers Dr Chelvan and Michael Etienne (himself a former member of the Young Lawyers Committee) will both be speaking, as part of a panel considering what it would take for the law to become a profession that better represents the diversity of its clients.
More information about the event can be found here.
