Two counsel from No5 are representing the defence in a blackmail case featuring a premier league footballer at Bristol Crown Court.
Phil Bradley QC is representing former Take Me Out contestant Tyrone Coleman and Talbir Singh is representing his brother, Nathan, over allegations they jointly, with two others, planned to capture the footballer in a compromising situation for the purpose of blackmailing him.
Tyrone Coleman, of Birmingham, denies conspiracy to blackmail. Nathan Coleman, of Sussex, denies conspiracy to blackmail and two charges of theft relating to the footballer’s Rolex Watch and a designer tracksuit.
The player, who cannot be named for legal reasons, jumped out of a hotel room wearing only his underwear after being filmed with a woman who was not his partner.
He had previously met Natalie Wood on two occasions after contacting her on social media and arranged to meet her for a third time last year.
Wood, along with the Colemans and a third defendant, Prince Rowe, allegedly hatched a plot to blackmail the footballer by filming “incriminating” footage of him in bed with Wood.
Rowe has also denied conspiracy to blackmail and two charges of theft. Wood has admitted conspiracy to blackmail.
