Paediatric experts will share their knowledge at a Medical Evidence seminar to be hosted by No5 Barristers’ Chambers, on May 17 at Wolverhampton Racecourse.

Around 150 people are due to attend the event which will provide a full-day medico-legal seminar aimed at those who practice in the field of Children Law.

Richard Hadley, said: “There will be a number of distinguished guests from a range of paediatric disciplines which are commonly encountered in cases that have a medical element.

“The aim of the seminar is to provide advice and assistance in the instruction of experts generally, with specific reference to the disciplines of our eminent speakers; topics including paediatric radiology, suspected sexual abuse, ophthalmic trauma and genetics. The day will conclude with ‘a view from the bench’ to be given by His Honour Judge Lopez.

Topics will include a paediatric overview, a look at what radiology can tell us, which expert best suits which case and Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) investigations.
