Sebastian Vastaki-Barsby was accused along with two others, Tyler Smith and Uzair Hussain, of stabbing  Mark Nesmith on a BP  petrol station forecourt in the early hours of June 11th  of this year. Mr Nesmith died later in hospital as a result of his injuries.

After a three week long trial at Birmingham Crown Court,  Mr Vastaki-Barsby was acquitted of charges of murder, manslaughter and possession of an offensive weapon, but found guilty of violent disorder offence.
