Jonas Hankin QC has been instructed to prosecute the alleged murder of James Brindley, 26, who died on 23 June. He collapsed close to his parent’s address in Aldridge after being stabbed in the heart. The case was featured on BBC Crimewatch and has received widespread publicity. The trial will be heard in January 2018.
