The UK Supreme Court today unanimously dismissed an appeal by the Secretary of State for the Home Department that Jamaica should be included on a list of countries where LGBT people are “in general” not at serious risk of persecution.
In doing so, the Supreme Court affirmed the Court of Appeal’s majority decision that Jamaica’s placement on this list was unlawful.
