Paul Marshall, member of No5 Chambers Commercial Group, is speaking at a conference held jointly by the International Committee of the Bar Council of England and Wales and the Deutscher Anwaltverein with its Arbeitsgemeinschaft Bank- und Kapitalmarktrecht on Thursday, 19th February.
The seminar, titled “Current cases and regulatory approaches to financial mis-selling in England and Germany”, will be held in Frankfurt. Paul Marshall will be speaking with Gregory Mitchell and Dr Peter Clouth about the mis-selling of financial instrument – recent case law in England and Germany.
The talk will consider the validity of derivatives – is there capacity?, the causes of action under which banks have been sued for mis-selling derivatives, and the issue of fairness.
