No5 Chambers were victorious at the Birmingham Law Society Golf Day held at Nailcote Hall, the home of the British Par 3 Championship. The day organised by ex BLS President Martin Allsop was attended by solicitors, barristers and businesses across the region and culminated in a Dinner hosted by current BLS President Eileen Schofield.
In fine conditions the teams enjoyed superb facilities at Nailcote hall, the day was interrupted to allow Alan Shearer to land in a helicopter and play one of the signature holes in his charity golf day challenge where he played 18 holes at different course across the country looking to raise funds for his own foundation.
No5’s team consisting of Matthew Brunning and James Parks from chambers, were joined by Lyons Davidson’s Bob Wallace and Mark Walsh and posted a commanding total of 84 points to secure victory. Mark Walsh also won the individual event with a fine 40 points to conclude a very successful and enjoyable day. More importantly the event raised funds for President Schofield’s chosen Charity the Princes Trust
