No5 Chambers Teams in the London and Midland Legal Walks

This year, both the London and Midland Legal walks will take place on 19th May. The 10km long walks will raise money for the London Legal Support Trust and the Midland Legal Support Trust. Further information can be found here:  www.londonlegalsupporttrust.org.uk and www.mlst.org.uk

The London walk is now in its 10th year, and will start at Carey Street, just off Chancery Lane, ending in the same location with a street party.  The lead walkers this year include the Lord Chief Justice, The President of the Supreme Court, The Master of the Rolls, the Attorney General, The DPP, and leaders of the Bar Council, the Law Society and CILEx.

The Birmingham Walk first began in 2008. The route is a pleasant 10km stroll around the sights of Birmingham, ending with drinks, nibbles and networking. This years lead walkers are Mr Justice Foskett and Mrs Justice King.

No5 Members and Staff have entered teams in both walks, who need sponsorship to raise much needed funds for the trusts, which support free legal advice charities in their local areas.
