No5 Chambers sponsors Birmingham Citizens Advice Bureau golf day

On Friday 4^th April Birmingham Citizens Advice Bureau held a fundraising Golf Day at North Worcestershire Golf Club, which No5 Chambers was pleased to sponsor.

The day was a success, raising a total of £1,682, which will help to provide citizens of Birmingham advice on many issues including employment, consumer debt, benefits, tax, housing and immigration.

No5 Chambers and other local businesses entered, but the CAB team was the winning team on the day and Michael Duck QC presented them with the winners’ trophy.

The day was followed by a two-course dinner, and players and guests had the opportunity to bid on auction prizes such as a makeover and photoshoot, cricket match tickets, a spa day, Sunday brunch, and a meal for two.

Birmingham Citizens Advice Bureau is celebrating its 75^th Anniversary this year, and are aiming to raise a total of £75,000. For information on other events being held this year and details of how to get involved, please contact fundraising@bcabs.org.uk or call 0121 236 5700.
