Scott Conners, 31, Stonehouse, has been convicted of conspiracy to supply cocaine following a three-week trial at Plymouth Crown Court.

The court heard that Connors, along with his brother Luke Connors, was a key player in a gang who brought cocaine from Liverpool, where it was relatively cheap, and sold it in Plymouth for a profit.

Police used surveillance, mobile records and number plate recognition to track the gangs movements, and seized a total of 3.87 grams of cocaine with a value of £184,860 between October 2011 and January 2012.

Anthony Connolly, represented by Earl Pinnock, was accused of accompanying his son Lee Connolly on drugs runs between Plymouth and Liverpool but was cleared by the jury.
