Jamie Reynolds, 23, Wellington, has been sentenced to his whole life in prison after murdering Georgia Williams on May 26 2013.

The trial at Stafford Crown Court heard that Georgia died as a result of pressure being applied to her neck. The police investigation found pornographic images and videos and obscene stories written by Reynolds at his home, which included images of women with digitally added ropes around their necks.

A psychiatric assessment of Reynolds found that “he had the potential to become a serial killer” was accepted by Mr Justice Wilkie who said he deserved the severest sentence.
