Seven men who were arrested after a police operation named ‘No Deal’, the biggest crackdown on drugs in Wolverhampton’s history, have been the first to plead guilty at Birmingham Crown Court.
The ring leader of the scheme, Dwayne Jackson, 28, Aston Lane, Claverley, along with Scott Reed, 26, of Stowheath Lane, East Park, Shane Dhanda, 22, of Aston Road, Willenhall, Adam Spencer, 28 of Long Knowle Lane, Wednesfield, Lee Dwight, 32, of Ellerton Walk, Park Village, Antonio Gambone, 28, of Myrtle Street, Park Fields and Adam Walker, 26, of Hampton View, Heath Town pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine between 29th October 2012 and 24th September 2013.
Others who face these charges will be next in court. The seven who have pleaded guilty were remanded in custody and will be sentenced after the trial of their co-accused.
